What is LUSCNA?
LUSCNA is the North American branch of the Leeds United Supporters Club. It was established in 1992 as the Chicago branch and in 1993 merged with the New York branch to form the USA branch. In 1995 with increased interest from Leeds fans in Canada the branch became the North American.
Who runs LUSCNA?
Mike Bellwood in Boston is the branch secretary and organizes new memberships and tickets. Ian Slade in Toronto organizes Canadian memberships and Simon Topliss in Chicago and Gary Wilson in New York run the branch website. Simon was also responsible for designing the LUSCNA logo and Steve Morgan in New Hampshire designed and produced our branch pins. We actively encourage Leeds fans to offer their help and contribute ideas to the running of the branch.
How many members are in the branch?
Membership grows steadily each year. As of December 31st 2002 there are 164 members.
Where are the members based?
Members are based in 28 states and in Canada, Hawaii, Argentina and the Bahamas. In the USA a general breakdown is as follows:-

Where are LUSCNA members originally from?
Lots of people assume that there are either no Americans in the club or that is comprised solely of Americans.
The breakdown of membership based on birthplace is as follows:-
21% of members are from Leeds
10% are from Harrogate!
16% of members are from other areas of Yorkshire
22% are from other areas of the UK
22% are from the USA
5% are from Ireland
4% are from the rest of the world (inc. Nigeria, Norway, Canada,Lebanon and Malaysia).
94% of members are aged between 25-49, with 3% aged under 25 and 3% aged over 50.

Do members regularly attend games?
Many branch members travel back several times every season to watch Leeds. The Supporters Club has season tickets for use by members attending home games and often organizes in excess of 10 tickets for match at Elland Road. LUSCNA is also eligible for away tickets from the official LUSC allocation. We have had representation at every league game at Elland Road for the past three seasons.
What is the Branch Supporter of the Season Award?
The Supporter of the year award goes to the member who it is felt made the most effort in supporting his team during a season. The support might might be in terms of attending games in England, helping out with the branch or making a huge effort to see games in the USA e.g. driving 500 miles round trip to the local boozer every time we are on TV.

What do the winners get? Bugger all so far except our respect but that will change.
Do I have to be member to get tickets?
Yes. For home games the branch will arrange tickets for yourself plus a guest. For away games tickets are for members only. Contact Mike at mike@luscna.com if you have any questions regarding tickets.
Is there a branch newsletter?
Yes, every 2-3 months but in the interim the branch sends out regular e-mails notifying members when Leeds will be on US TV and other Leeds and branch related news.
Does the branch have any merchandise for sale?
In the past we have produced 2 t-shirts and this year we produced our first enamel badges. We actively encourage with production of merchandise You can check back to the merchandise section for updates on new items.
Can I buy offical merchandise via LUSCNA?
